What a 15 minute timer is good for
A quarter of an hour is the standard short break in most workplaces and the usual length of a focused sprint on a single small task. It is also long enough to be a real rest rather than a pause, if you spend it away from a screen.
- A workplace break
- A focused sprint on one task
- A circuit workout
- Timed tidying
The alarm is a gong generated in your browser, so it works with the sound on and no connection. For work/break cycles with ambient sound, use the Focus timer; to count down to a date instead of a duration, use Countdowns.
