What a 20 minute timer is good for
Twenty minutes is the widely cited nap length — short enough to wake before deep sleep, which is what causes the groggy feeling afterwards. It is also a common length for exam sections and for the "20-20-20" habit of looking at something distant to rest your eyes.
- A power nap
- A study or revision block
- Screen-break intervals
- Cooking and baking
The alarm is a gong generated in your browser, so it works with the sound on and no connection. For work/break cycles with ambient sound, use the Focus timer; to count down to a date instead of a duration, use Countdowns.
